Elizabeth Jane Bivins Culinary Center
The Lee Bivins Foundation is proud to announce a new service that is part of the "Center of Excellence" on the Bivins campus located in the Regional Medical Center Campus in west Amarillo. The Elizabeth Jane Bivins Culinary Center is a state-of-the-art kitchen preparing food using "cook-chill" technology as well as a distribution site for meals that can be delivered to the Texas Panhandle region. The EJB Culinary Center incorporates innovative food production and food delivery concepts that includes large cooking kettles, tumble chillers, a "cook/chill tank", a chilled trayline assembly, filling (or pumping) station and advanced rethermalization technology. Childers Place
To further our commitment of enriching the quality of life for residents living in the Texas Panhandle, the Bivins Foundations are proud to introduce a new "Center of Excellence" to its family of facilities. Childers Place, a two-story nursing and memory care home, is currently under construction adjacent to the existing Bivins Memorial Nursing Home. Find out more....
Bivins Village
To further our commitment of enriching quality of life for residents living in the Texas Panhandle, the Mary E. Bivins Foundation is proud to introduce Phase II of Bivins Village, an independent living community for low-income senior citizens, ages 62 and older, in Amarillo, Texas. Bivins Village Phase II is a three-story, 60-unit apartment building, adjacent to the current Bivins Village. Construction of the new building began in December of 2005, and is scheduled to be complete in December of 2006. Find out more....
Bivins Memorial Rehabilitation Unit
Bivins Memorial Rehabilitation (Rehab) is among the finest facilities in the region to offer progressive specialty rehabilitation services. Bivins Memorial is a 36-bed unit dedicated to the rehabilitation of individuals recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, as well as other medical conditions. Find out more....
