Bivins Memorial provides outstanding memory care, as well as intermediate and skilled nursing care for elderly individuals. The mission of Bivins Memorial is to provide quality of life for residents through a range of amenities, including private rooms, private bathrooms, and beautiful views of the Harrington Regional Medical Center's park and lake. Bivins Memorial provides care for private pay and Medicaid recipients and consistently maintains high standards of excellence.

Well trained, compassionate, and caring professionals with a personal commitment to service and quality, attend to each resident's needs at Bivins Memorial, providing the comforts of a familiar environment. As much as possible, residents retain the right to make their own decisions and to participate in planning their own care and activities.

Renovations at Bivins Memorial

For more than 55 years, the Bivins name has set the standard for excellence in the care of older adults and their families. Bivins Memorial was originally added to the Bivins continuum to provide services for residents of the Elizabeth Jane Bivins Home as they needed more care. For nearly forty years, the programs and services at Bivins Memorial have expanded to meet the changing needs of seniors in our area. In 2006, Bivins Memorial will once again meet the priority need of caring for Elizabeth Jane Bivins residents. The Bivins Foundations are proud to introduce a renovation project at Bivins Memorial that will help us meet that need. Here are just a few highlights of the project:
