Ministry Scholarship ProgramThank you for your interest in the Mary E. Bivins Foundation Scholarship Program. The scholarship application process for the 2010-11 academic year is now closed, having been open from January 18 to February 15, 2010. Please visit our website in January 2011 for the new academic year. Scholarship Purpose: The purpose of the Mary E. Bivins Foundation Religious Scholarship Program is to educate ministers to preach the Christian religion. Scholarships are provided for an undergraduate or graduate education leading to a Bachelors or Masters Degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion. Priority will be given to students intending to serve as pulpit pastors upon graduation.
Scholarship awards are granted to classifications of junior, senior and graduate students. Awards are based upon $2,500 per semester for those students classified as a junior or senior and $3,500 per semester for graduate students. Monies awarded are to be used for tuition, books, fees and other expenses as necessary for college/university attendance. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis, and each student is required to meet all award criteria each semester and to complete an application annually. If you have questions or need further information, please contact Linda Inks, Scholarship Program Officer, at 806.379.9400 or email links@bivinsfoundation.org.
